IFS Therapy in London
If you've achieved a great deal in life and yet something still feels unresolved — a persistent anxiety, a pattern that keeps repeating, a sense of disconnection from yourself or the people closest to you — Internal Family Systems therapy may be what you're looking for.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a deeply effective, evidence-based approach that works by helping you understand and relate differently to the various parts of yourself. Rather than fighting your inner critic, numbing difficult feelings, or managing symptoms, IFS gets to the root — with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment.
Who I work with
I work with professionals, executives, and high-achieving individuals who want more than surface-level support. People who are used to solving problems and have found that this particular one — the inner one — requires a different kind of attention.
Many of my clients come with a background of high performance alongside a private struggle: with addiction, with relationships, with a relentless critical voice, or with a sense that despite outward success something essential is missing.
What to expect
Sessions take place in a quiet, confidential setting in 35 Great James Street, in Bloomsbury, central London — a short walk from Russell Square and Chancery Lane. Alternatively we can meet online via Zoom. I offer an initial exploratory session so you can get a sense of the work before committing to anything.
IFS is collaborative, experiential, and grounded in neuroscience. It is not about advice or analysis — it is about helping you access your own innate capacity for healing. Most people find it unlike any therapy they've tried before.
I bring over 25 years of clinical experience to this work, with a particular depth in addiction, trauma, and relational issues. In recent years I have also integrated Relational Life Therapy (RLT) principles into my practice, which adds a powerful dimension for those navigating relationship difficulties alongside their inner work.
Confidentiality and discretion
I understand that for many of my clients, privacy is paramount. Everything discussed in our sessions is held in the strictest confidence, in full accordance with ethical guidelines.
Getting started
The first step is simply a conversation. If you'd like to explore whether this work might be right for you, I'd be glad to hear from you.
